Fox is mean because he took a magpie,

out of the sky,

well, goodbye magpie.

Fox then ate the magpie!

Why?

Why did he eat the magpie,

that he took from the sky?

 

 

Matthew wrote this poem this morning.  I changed nothing except for leaving out the last line which goes "Dog is nice because he ate the fox."  I am hoping he works on a second stanza later!

I don't force any of my children (except for Ryan!) to write.  They see me do it.  Andrew is writing a novel that will probably be done before mine.  Aidan has been writing an occasional journal entry.  And now this.

Sigh.  Sometimes I wonder if I am homeschooling the wrong child!
